This pattern has more of an Edwardian flavor to me than Regency (it’s the princess sleeves and the low cut and squared neck-line which was a fashion feature less common for the era, although sometimes present in evening gowns at the time). There will be problems in the bust area of this gown – if you are a woman who has a bust measurement greater than a 36-C, unless you want to alter the bodice of the gown significantly, this is not the gown (or Regency bodice pattern) for you – no matter how pretty it is! lol! The bodice pattern is not friendly to Ds (single, double, or triple at that!) Please note: I only used the bodice and sleeve pattern. I heightened the neckline by 2-inches (or else more of my bust would be exposed than what is allowed by law! lol!), I did not use the skirt pattern, and I had to widen the arm-band of the sleeve by 1-inch. Despite these issues, the pattern is easy to use and it comes together well for ladies less endowed in the bust area.
