Happy Monday, EP Fans! I’m a little late (as usual) in annoucing a new contest winner. Friday was a little hectic, as I had the day off and tried to squeeze in getting a few things done – new hair cut and color, lunch with the best friend, mad dash to get money in the bank for a fabric order, running after the kids and general mayhem that happens whenever I’m unleashed on the general public! lol. So, without further ado, the announcement:

Happy Friday, EP Fans! It have been two weeks since we announced the winner of our contest. We just wanted to give a quick reminder to the winner, Jen, to email us for your prize. You will need to send us your postal address and pattern choice, so we can get it sent out to you. Please email us at emeraldparlor at gmail dot com. We will only be able to hold your prize until March 23rd. If we have not heard from you on or before March 23rd, we will need to pick an new winner. So, please email us as soon as you can.

I realized this morning that I completely forgot to draw the winner yesterday. I apologize! lol. It’s been a very busy week. But, I do have the results! Here is how I did it and the winner:

100th Post and a Blog Contest

Hello and welcome, EP Fans! We are very proud to announce our 100th post!!! Wow! It’s hard to believe we have posted so much. What started as a way to share our costume projects with each other, has become a way to share with the world. We wanted to offer to others what we did not have in the beginning, insight and advise into historical costuming and sewing. We have made sure that we share our failures, as well as our successes. And we will continue to do so, as we progress and move forward. We love to offer our thoughts and opinions on patterns, materials and short cuts. As another way to continue that, we will be doing a weekly feature called “Tuesday Top 5 Favorites”. In this weekly feature, Angie and I will be sharing our “Top 5 Favorites” in patterns, material, Historically inspired movies, books and such. We will keep this feature as long as we have topics, so if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment or email us with those suggestions. We will take all suggestions under due consideration. Now, for something really exciting.
