You really can’t find a pattern that is easier to construct than this one – all you need is fabric and little elastic! The pattern pieces are well drafted and fit together flawlessly, except for the neck facing, which was a tad too long and needed a trim, but this is hardly worth mentioning. The sizing is very accurate to retail sizing – size 3-4, 7-8, etc., really means those sizes (save you may have to adjust the length of the sleeves or pant legs depending on the Little One you are sewing for).
Note that I used elastic in the pant legs (the pattern does not call for this) – this is to keep the pant legs from getting caught up or snagged. Also, this pattern does not have to be used for jammies alone – this pattern can make a very nice little day wear combination just by changing out the fabrics (say to denim for the pants and a nice cotton shirt).
