Period Impressions Pattern Reviews

Period Impressions patterns are researched and drawn from original patterns or clothing. They are produced by a small company of pattern makers. These are the same patterns makers utilized by the Kentucky State Historical Society and the Military History Musueum. These patters are sized for today’s living historians, while keeping the period look.

Tonia’s review – I like these patterns. They go together very easily, as the pieces are very similar to commercial pattern pieces. If you are at the intermediate or advanced sewing levels, the instructions are not really needed, unless you plan to hand sew these, as the instructions demonstrate. My only complaint is that the sewing instructions are on a very large, fold out sheet, which makes them hard to follow, unless you lay them out flat somewhere. All in all, very nice patterns to give the correct period look.
